1. Urgent Needs Amid Expansion Challenges
The client is an experienced auto parts manufacturer in San Salvador Department, El Salvador, specializing in the production of engine components and chassis parts. In 2023, to expand production capacity and enter the North American market, the company launched a factory expansion project, including the construction of new production workshops, the addition of assembly lines, and the upgrading of electrical systems. The electrical system is the core of the factory’s operation, and the selection of high-quality, compliant wires directly determines the safety, stability, and efficiency of the entire production line.

2. Customized Wire Selection to Address Core Pain Points
After in-depth communication with the client’s engineering team, we learned about the specific requirements of the expansion project: the new workshop needed to withstand high-temperature and humid environments, the assembly line equipment required stable power supply, and the factory’s supporting solar power system needed special outdoor wires. The XHHW-2 wire was the core product of this project, used for the main power distribution of the workshop. Compared with ordinary XHHW wire, XHHW-2 adopts cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation material, which has superior heat resistance and water resistance—its temperature rating can reach 90°C in both wet and dry environments, and up to 125°C in dry environments, far higher than the 75°C temperature rating of ordinary thermoplastic (PVC) insulated XHHW wire. This feature makes XHHW-2 very suitable for high-temperature, high-load auto parts production workshops, effectively avoiding wire aging and short circuits caused by high temperatures. More importantly, our XHHW-2 wire has UL certification and complies with NEC standards, which not only meets the client’s safety requirements but also lays the foundation for the factory’s subsequent product export to North America. We provide XHHW-2 cable factory direct supply, eliminating intermediate links, ensuring product quality, and reducing procurement costs for the client.

The MC Cable (Metal-Clad Cable) is used for the connection of assembly line equipment. Its interlocked aluminum armor provides strong mechanical protection, effectively protecting internal conductors from wear, impact, and rodent damage, which is crucial for the harsh industrial environment of auto parts factories. Unlike ordinary PVC cables, MC Cable does not require additional conduit laying during installation, which greatly improves installation efficiency and reduces the client’s construction costs. The MC Cable we provided includes 2-4 cores (12 AWG-6 AWG), which can meet the different power supply needs of various assembly line equipment.
The PV Cable is used for the factory’s supporting solar power system, responsible for transmitting DC power generated by solar panels to inverters. Considering the strong outdoor sunlight and large temperature differences in El Salvador, our PV Cable adopts UV-resistant and weather-resistant XLPE insulation material, with a service life of more than 25 years, and complies with the UL 4703 standard for the North American market. Compared with ordinary outdoor wires, it has better resistance to extreme temperatures and UV radiation, ensuring stable power transmission of the solar system in harsh outdoor environments.
3. UL Certification as the Core, Strict Quality Control
For auto parts factories, electrical safety is a top priority—any safety hazard may lead to production suspension, equipment damage, or even safety accidents. After confirming the solution, the client’s core demand was fast delivery—requiring all wires to be delivered to the San Salvador factory within 15 days to avoid delaying electrical installation and the overall expansion progress, which was a great test for our inventory management and logistics capabilities.
