During the project preparation stage, the customer faced four core pain points: first, worrying about the stability of the power station's investment return, fearing that improper cable selection would reduce power generation efficiency and affect long-term benefits; second, worrying about frequent system failures, especially in cables and connectors, such as wire burning and frequent maintenance, which would increase additional costs; third, the construction team lacked experience in laying photovoltaic cables, worrying about non-standard wiring, which would bring inconvenience to later maintenance; fourth, worrying about high later operation and maintenance costs, and frequent failures would erode project profits, making it impossible to achieve the expected low-maintenance operation. In addition, the customer had strict requirements on the quality, certification and delivery time of cable products, and hoped to choose a supplier with experience in similar projects and capable of providing full-process support.
II. High-Quality PV Cables with Complete Certifications and Suitable Scenarios
To meet the project requirements, the cable products we provided cover the DC side, AC side and control system of the photovoltaic system. All products have passed strict inspections, among which the PV cables hold TUV certificate (Certificate No.: B 126326 0001 Rev.00), and other cables have passed IEC national standard certification. The quality meets international standards and can adapt to the local climate in Serbia and the operation needs of photovoltaic projects.
Our PV cables adopt XLPO (cross-linked polyolefin) insulation + sheath structure, and the conductor is made of high-purity oxygen-free tinned copper, with excellent electrical conductivity. The resistivity is stably controlled at ≤0.017241Ω·mm²/m (20℃), the rated voltage can reach DC 1.8kV, and it can operate stably in harsh environments from -40℃ to 90℃, and can withstand a maximum high temperature of 150℃ for a short time. It is UV-resistant, high-temperature resistant, ozone-resistant and hydrolysis-resistant, with a service life of more than 25 years, perfectly adapting to the climate characteristics of high summer temperature and strong ultraviolet radiation in the Balkan region. The product colors are mainly red and black, which are convenient for distinguishing positive and negative poles during construction. The structure is a single-core flexible conductor design, with strong flexibility, and the minimum allowable bending radius is only 6D, which is convenient for laying in complex outdoor scenarios.

Core product specifications cover all project scenarios: H1Z2Z2-K 1×6 mm² is selected from modules to combiner boxes on the DC side; H1Z2Z2-K 1×10 mm² or H1Z2Z2-K 1×16 mm² is selected from combiner boxes to inverters; due to the large current at the output end of the inverter on the AC side, large-section power cables such as YJV 3×240 mm² are selected; RVV 3×1.5 mm² and shielded KVVP cables are selected for the control system, fully covering the power transmission and signal control needs of the project.
III. Addressing Pain Points, Balancing Performance and Cost
We did not simply provide cable products, but combined the actual situation of the project and customer pain points to provide a set of customized cable selection, laying and after-sales support solutions, solving customer concerns from the source and ensuring the stable operation of the project.
To address the pain point of "reduced power generation efficiency and unstable investment return", we abandoned the common empirical selection mode in the industry and adopted a scientific calculation method to accurately determine the cable cross-section according to the current, distance and voltage drop requirements of each section of the project. Among them, the DC side cables strictly control the voltage drop within 1.5%. Compared with empirical selection, it can effectively reduce power loss and retain a certain amount of power generation for the power station every year. The profit cycle of photovoltaic projects is more than 20 years, and the income improvement brought by this optimization is long-term and stable, directly ensuring the customer's expected investment return. For example, according to the different distances from the combiner box to the inverter, we selected H1Z2Z2-K 1×10 mm² and H1Z2Z2-K 1×16 mm² cables respectively, which not only meet the voltage drop requirements, but also avoid the cost waste caused by large-section cables, achieving a balance between performance and cost.
To address the pain point of "prone system failures and easy damage to connectors", we focused on optimizing product quality and detail control. Compared with ordinary PVC insulated cables that will age and crack in 2-3 years, our PV cables adopt XLPO insulation + sheath, which has excellent UV resistance, high temperature resistance and anti-aging performance, and can operate stably for more than 20 years, fundamentally reducing cable aging failures. At the same time, we strictly control the compatibility between cable outer diameter and MC4 connectors to avoid heating and burning caused by poor contact - this is the most common fault point on the photovoltaic power station site. We effectively avoid this risk and reduce the frequency of later maintenance by calibrating the size in advance and strictly testing the compatibility.
To address the pain point of "non-standard construction and difficult later maintenance", we provided the customer with a set of standardized selection manuals and laying suggestions, clearly marking the cable model to be selected for each section of the line (such as H1Z2Z2-K 1×6 mm² from modules to combiner boxes), laying spacing, fixing methods, etc. The construction team only needs to operate according to the manual to ensure standard wiring. At the same time, our cables have clear color distinction and clear model marking, which can quickly locate the line during later operation and maintenance, greatly reducing maintenance difficulty and cost. In addition, we arranged professional technical personnel to provide remote guidance to timely solve the problems encountered during the construction process and ensure the construction quality.
To address the pain point of "high later operation and maintenance costs", the core of our solution is "strict quality control in the early stage and fewer failures in the later stage". In addition to selecting high-life and anti-aging XLPO insulated cables, we also reserved sufficient temperature rise margin for the cables, which can cope with the high-load operation of the high-temperature environment in Serbia in summer and avoid cable damage caused by excessive temperature rise. At the same time, all products have passed authoritative certifications, with guaranteed quality and greatly reduced failure rate, allowing the power station to gradually achieve a "low-maintenance operation" state. In the long run, it significantly reduces the customer's operation and maintenance costs and avoids profits being consumed by frequent maintenance.
IV. Certified Protection, Multiple Inspections to Build a Solid Defense Line
Safety is the core of photovoltaic power station operation. We always put product safety and system safety in the first place, and build a solid defense line for the project through authoritative certifications, multiple inspections and detail control. Our PV cables hold TUV certificate (Certificate No.: B 126326 0001 Rev.00), strictly follow the implementation standard of 2Pfg1169/08.2007, and meet German and international photovoltaic industry standards. Every meter of cable has passed seven mandatory inspections before leaving the factory, including DC withstand voltage, insulation resistance, conductor resistance and sheath thickness, to ensure that the product performance meets the standards. Other cables have passed IEC national standard certification, meeting international power transmission standards and adapting to the local power system requirements in Serbia.
In terms of product structure, our PV cables adopt XLPO insulation + sheath, which has halogen-free and low-smoke characteristics. In case of fire, the smoke concentration is low and no harmful gases are released, which can ensure the safety of on-site personnel and equipment; the conductor is made of high-purity oxygen-free copper, with low conductive loss, and has good chemical corrosion resistance and mechanical wear resistance, adapting to long-term outdoor use. During the construction process, we emphasize standardized laying to avoid cables being scratched by sharp objects and over-bent, further ensuring the safe operation of cables and reducing the risk of failures.

The customer had clear requirements on the project progress and was worried that the delayed delivery of cables would affect the construction progress.
